HMS Ambuscade is a retired Type 21 frigate of the Royal Navy.

She was built by Yarrow Shipbuilders Ltd, Glasgow, Scotland. She entered service in 1975. Ambuscade took part in the Falklands War of 1982. Ambuscade was sold to Pakistan in 1993 and served their navy as PNS Tariq until 2023. HMS Tartar (F133) was a Tribal-class frigate of the Royal Navy (RN).

She was named after the Tartar people, most of whom were located in Asia and Eastern Europe. She was sold to the Indonesian Navy in 1984 as KRI Hasanuddin (333). Tartar was built by Devonport Dockyard,[2] at a cost of £4,140,000.[3] She was launched on 19 September 1960 and commissioned on 26 February 1962
