The Southerners continue to fly the New Zealand flag strongly in Super Rugby with the Crusaders and Highlanders notching up bonus point wins to kick off week nine.
The Crusaders have worn out the Chiefs 34-16 in Mount Maunganui to add more misery to Ian Foster’s struggling side.
The Crusaders back three ran from everywhere, and wing Sean Maitland says they are focusing a lot on expansive rugby.
Meanwhile the Highlanders have thrashed the inconsistent Rebels 40-18 in Melbourne scoring six tries to two.
The Crusaders remain at the top of the New Zealand Conference, while the Highlanders are up to second, a point ahead of the Blues who host the Waratahs tonight.
