Glowing like a neon sign

Tonight we decided to dine out at the local Sichuan restaurant and enjoy some hot spicy food.

Ventured out in to the cool air, -9c and wandered around the corner and ordered and then decided to ask Sally to join us.

Enjoyed the meal and the warmed up beijiu and its 53% proof which warmed the cockles of the heart.

Left the eatery and hit the cold air, now -13c and snowing and walked back home and was glowing like a neon sign.

Later had a call from John Maddison, an old mate from Perth telling me how hot it was there, around 40c.

Oh well.
