Original Post from Chris McLennan:

My home out on the high Arctic ice north east of Spitsbergen for the past few weeks.

Here we have tied up to an ice flow for the night – although the sun never set

We had a fantastic photographic expedition with great photography opportunities every day – thanks to Rinie van Meurs for his amazing wildlife tracking abilities and immense local knowledge! It feels strange being back in civilization after so much pristine solitude off Spitsbergen.

Thanks also to all of my guests – you came from all corners of the globe as strangers and left as close friends making this journey so special.

Cheers Martin and Zoe, Jayson Raffe and Jenelle Raffe, Melanne Maddalene, Stephanie Scott, Gary C Tate and Diana Frost
