SOUTH CHINA SEA (Oct. 29, 2021) Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force Asahi-class destroyer JS Shiranui (DD-120) conducts a replenishment-at-sea with Henry J. Kaiser-class fleet replenishment oiler USNS Big Horn (T-AO 198), a part of Military Sealift Command (MSC) Far East. MSC Far East ensures approximately 50 ships operating in the Indo-Pacific Region, are manned, trained and equipped to deliver essential supplies, fuel, cargo and equipment to warfighters, both at sea and on shore.
