HMAS Stalwart ( pennant numbers F4A, H56 and H14) was an Admiralty S-Class fighter handed over to the Australian Navy by the British Royal Navy between the world wars.

The ship was transferred to the Australian Navy, which recruited it on 27 January 1920 in Devonport under the name HMAS Stalwart , first commanded by Lieutenant Frederick L. Cavaye. It set sail for Australia on 26 February with another ship handed over to Australia, HMAS Anzac , but Anzac had to return to Plymouth due to a fault found on board. Stalwart traveled through Australia to Gibraltar, Malta, Port Said, Suez, Aden, Bombay, Colombo, Singapore, Surabaya and Thursday Island. Anzac reached Stalwart in Colombo, after which they continued their journey together. They arrived in Sydney on 29 April. [1]The vessel spent most of its service in ports on the east coast of Australia.

The ship visited New Guinea in June-July 1924. It was retired and transferred to the reserve on 1 December 1925 and sold for scrapping on 4 June 1937 in Sydney to Penguins Limited.
