This is the Royal Navy destroyer HMS Ardent (H41), an A-class ship launched in 1929.
It was built by Scott’s Shipbuilding and Engineering Company and featured a 1,350-ton displacement.
The vessel was armed with four 4.7-inch guns and quad torpedo tubes.
HMS Ardent was sunk in June 1940 during the Norwegian campaign. [1, 2, 3, 4]
