HMS Royal Sovereign(2300×1923) was a WW1 Royal Navy battleship that served in WW2. Because of her lack of speed and her age, she could not be a frontline battleship. But with eight 15in guns, she did make a powerful escort, and German raiders such as Scharnhorst would have been no match for her.
