
HMS Queen (D19), a Ruler-class escort carrier built in the United States and transferred to the Royal Navy during World War II.
Originally laid down as the USS St. Andrews (CVE-49), the ship served with the Royal Navy from 1943 until 1945.
The vessel was armed with two 5-inch guns, 40mm and 20mm anti-aircraft guns, and typically carried 28 aircraft.
After the war, she was returned to the United States and converted into a merchant cargo ship in 1948. [1, 2]
